I received the mat in a short period of time and it is wonderful. Completely as described and I think it feels good on bare feet too. My last mat always was shedding and the black trim faded and ripped. It was the same size and made of a thicker material. It was also sharp on your bare feet. I have had the mat for one month and I am so happy with this purchase.

Our 2009 Christmas gift of an expensive personalized door mat to my daughter's family did not include the gift card. It was awhile before we received a THANK YOU and she finally determined that it was us by the process of elimination. Not sure what happened, but you may want to check to see if your gift was received if you don't hear the recipeint. Otherwise, she is pleased with the doormat--at least, so far. On a previous personalized mat that we had sent to them , but not from this company; thre namre wore off after a year or so, which was disappointing. We have asked her to let us know if this happens in the future with this mat. I gues only time will tell.
