Unfortunately it was a gift and and I didn't open it before giving it I offered to return it but my friends were so pleased with the "thoughtfulness" they insisted it was fine..lesson learned I should have inspected it first, you should have also

It did not ship on the expected date, and I was not made aware of this until I contacted them to inquire about the order. They said the first mat did not pass muster and must be redone. They gave me another ship date. I saw the mat at my friends' house after it arrived. Although the mat is nice and large, I was disappointed in the way they typeset the name. It was "MCCURDY" in all caps. I thought it would be printed as I ordered it with the first "c" being lower case. I think it looks a little strange, but I do not want to deal with the hassle of sending it back and doing this all over again.

These natural fiber coconut doormats are manufactured right here in the USA. The coir fibers are inserted into an all weather vinyl backing for lasting endurance. These doormats are stain, rot and mildew resistant and can be easily cleaned with a good shaking or vacuuming. The border and personalization on these doormats is flocked instead of painted which makes these doormats fade resistant as well.

Monogrammed Doormat Review, 1.16.2011

As Christmas gifts for 19 different family households, I ordered 19 monogrammed doormats. Eighteen of the mats arrived promptly as scheduled; the 19th was inadvertently overlooked. When I called it to the attention of the company, they quickly prepared and rushed the 19th mat to me. The mats appear to be of a very good quality. They are very thick--and heavy when you receive 18 at a time! Also, the "fluff" does sift off at first--as explained in the packing slip--so rolling and wrapping the mats would have been easier if it could have been done out-of-doors but we managed and all the recipients were pleased with their personalized gift! I would order again from THe Personalized Doormats Company!

My doormat came timely, and is great quality for the very reasonable price. The only thing that I would have hoped for, is for our personalized letter (representing our last name) to be "grander." It's a little weak, thin font and not as pronounced/bold as I would prefer. I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating!

In the past I had ordered at least six mats as gifts for friends and family. I finally ordered one for myself! I had "spruced up" my front porch by painting all of my pots black and replaced my seating with new black chairs and a small table. The mat finishes off the fresh look and the black lettering ties together the new furniture and planters. Great quality and worth the price!
