| Submitted By: Donna I placed an order for an embossed gold pet mat with my dog’s name on it on or about December 29, 2010. The dog mat arrived on January 10, 2011. Just as the reviewer before me, the dog mat arrived without a name embossed on it. I emailed the company with a picture of the blank dog mat. The owner of the company called me back and promised to send out a new mat with my dog’s name embossed immediately. He told me to keep and use mat that I received. It took about a week to receive the new mat. This sounded very reasonable to me. It is important to state that there was an issue with another mat that I ordered and I had spoken to customer service via email and telephone in the last few days. You can read that review under double border luxury coir mat, not personalized. When the gold dog mat arrived within a week or so, the mat arrived with my dog’s name embossed consisting of 4 letters. I have had the dog mat for almost 3 months, it does catch much of the water when my dog drinks and shows no signs of mildew or rotting. The front of the mat is a gold and very thick pile and the backing is a black heavy vinyl. The mat is attractive and it appears that it will last a long time as it is a solid made mat. Therefore, I give the mat a 5 star rating. I will also give the customer service of this company a 5 star rating because they did respond and were extremely polite even though I was a bit frustrated with issues for both items I ordered. Regarding the previous review for this mat, when the dog mat arrives the name has individually raised letters that are not in a different color. There is nothing that states the raised letter will be in a different color and the picture of the mat shown on the web page shows the name in raised/embossed letters that are the same color of the mat. There is no dye or print to distinguish the letters. This is good because I can guarantee that if there was a dark print or dye, it would fade. All in all, this is a worthwhile purchase. |

I called them and then immediately took care of sending me a replacement. Very great customer service and wonderful products! |

For the sake of illustration, let's say I requested "Jackson" to be spelled on the mat. The spacing of the letters was bizarre and appeared to say "Jack son" instead. I had double checked my order form, so I'm not sure how this happened. The mat was nonetheless put to use and, as stated, is attractive. Keep an close eye on your order form, I guess. |
